Arrival at the hotel
Upon arrival at your hotel; our representative will sit with you; go over the tour itinerary and collect the payment.

Please note - The official check in time for most of the hotels around the world is midday. If you reach the hotel earlier than this; you may have to wait for a room to become available only in case of high season period but in general our representative will help you to make early check in.

If you are arriving late at night or the early hours of the morning and you wish to go direct to your hotel; you will need to book an extra night's accommodation - For example: If your tour will begin dated Februaru 28 and your flight will arrive Februaru 28 at 01:00 am; you will need to book an extra night for the night of February 27 if you wish to use a room before midday of February 28.
Money
You will need to bring sifficient funds to cover meals which are not included in your itinerary; Entrance fees (In case not included in your package); souvenirs and your sundry expenses.

It is difficult to recommend a level of personal spending money which will suite everyone as this can differ so wildly but as a guide line we would suggest somewhere in the vicinity of 20$ - 30$ per person per day but you should take more if you plan on doing lots pf shopping; buy souvenirs; etc...
Photography& Video Camera
Egypt is full of opportunities for great photography. It is allowed in many of the historical sites; however, flash is banned in most of the tombs.

At an increasing number of the historical sites, the government charges fees for photography and taking videos. It is forbidden to photograph bridges, railway stations, anything military, airports and other public works. Signs are usually posted.

If you want to take photos of local people; ask permission and respect their decision.

Camera film can be found in Cairo but it is best to bring your supply from home.

Local Transportation
In your free time; if you would like to go anywhere; taxies are the best method of local transportation but it is good idea to ask your representative/ guide or the hotel receptionist approximately how much the fare should be for the journey you propose.

NB: Sure you will find Taxis at the hotel but will charge you more than those you can hail in the street but hotel Taxis usually speaking English.
Student Cards
In order to get great value 50% reduction off the cost of the entry fees to museums& temples in Egypt; you should bring your international student card (If you have one).
